This is a fantastic career opportunity to train as a Service Advisor within the Fitzpatrick’s Group of dealerships, which include Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz, and Opel.

What does the role involve?

As a Trainee Service Advisor, you will be providing a first-class customer experience, while maximising sales opportunities in a fast-paced environment. The smooth running of the service department is vital to our business, and you will become a key element of the team. Some of the main duties are:

· Greet customers and offer excellent customer service from the first contact right through to the customer collecting their vehicle.

· Detailing customer requirements on job cards and invoices.

· Assist in monitoring the work in progress and report any issues to management.

· Liaising and having open communication with both our Parts Department and Technicians.

· Keeping the customer informed and updated on the progress of the works being carried out.

Candidate Requirements:

· To be enthusiastic about the automotive industry, and to have a positive personality.

· To be able to present themselves impeccably and be the face of Fitzpatrick’s.

· Excellent computer skills – to be able to record and amend details accurately.

· Good written and oral communication skills.

· To be organised, and to work well both within a team and independently.

· Exceptional customer facing skills-to create customer confidence by ensuring customer awareness of all products and services available.

· Operate at the highest standards of courtesy and efficiency.

· Ability to work under pressure and be able to handle all customers effectively.

· Accuracy in detailing customer requirements.

· To follow up and provide feedback to customers on the status of their order.

· To ensure that all parts requested have been ordered & charged for correctly.
