What you will be responsible for
As Depositary Specialist, Senior Associate you will be responsible for the design, execution and monitoring of several operational processes. This includes:
- Due diligence and risk assessment
- Asset ownership verification and record keeping
- Investment compliance oversight
- Income distribution oversight
- Cash monitoring
- Oversight of subscriptions and redemptions
- Safekeeping of Financial Instruments
- Valuation oversight
- Controls the quality in the design and the execution of the processes.
- Monitors on a daily basis the priorities and the quality of the work of the preparation and review teams
- Is the first point of contact for the preparation and review team and the client
- Leads by example and participates in the preparation and review work when necessary
- Maintains client contact and ensures to meet client deliverables, assuring excellent customer service
- Conducts client due diligence and risk assessments
- Stays objective and protects the investor`s interest at all times
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- A HBO+ level education, preferably with an accounting, or audit related focus
- 4-6 years of experience in the institutional investors business or related servicing industry
- Strong analytical skills and affinity with figures
- Ability to deal with fluctuating workloads
- Pro-active and hands on mentality
- The ability to understand complex investment fund structures and to identify related risks
- A sense of ownership and determination
- Proficiency in English
- Preference for fluent Dutch
- The ability to communicate effectively
